The House Heads Picnic, an outdoor festival during the July 4th weekend, draws house music enthusiasts from all corners of the nation.  In addition, there is The Kompass Red White, and Black Holiday Party, is usually scheduled on the last Saturday before Christmas. This event offers a festive season filled with joyous vibes.

Dj DaWud Johnson 

Meet DJ Dawud Johnson, a true aficionado of deep, soulful house music. His love for music is all about the perfect blend of soulful tunes. Music, for Dawud, is a spiritual journey and a form of therapy that touches the soul.  

Dawud's musical journey started in 1977 when he began spinning records at basement parties, setting dance floors on fire. He quickly found himself performing at colleges, halls, and venues, moving audiences with his soul-stirring beats. Over the years, he has graced numerous nightclubs and held resident DJ positions in the vibrant New York and New Jersey house music scene.

Dj Steve Chi Profess

Straight from the legendary Chicago music scene and now rocking Atlanta, ChiProfess has been dropping soulful house beats since 2013, with releases on top labels like House 4 Life, Toupee Records, Tambor Music, Afrique Electrique, and Cyberjamz. His track Dance 4 You featuring Cortney LaFloy on Tambor Music became an instant hit in 2014, setting dance floors on fire.

Dj Jason Staten

Jason Staten grew up in Lansing, Michigan, just three hours from Chicago. Positioned between the epicenters of House and Techno, he was surrounded by legendary Rock and Soul radio stations. Proximity to Detroit allowed him to immerse himself in the evolving House, Techno, and Hip Hop cultures. Inspired by these influences, Jason began making music and deejaying. In 1995, he moved to Atlanta to become the first Music Director and Mixer on Hot 97.5. With broad and expansive musical tastes, nothing brings him more pleasure than an extensive musical conversation with a willing crowd who loves to dance.

Tora is not your typical DJ.  She's a musical alchemist, blending genres effortlessly to create a unique and cohesive sound. Her love affair with music began in childhood, honing her skills for selecting the perfect tunes. Her talents quickly made her the go-to for curating music at parties, cultural events, and major music festivals.

This journey fueled her deep appreciation for music of all kinds. Tora is a singer-songwriter with an exceptional ear for melody and musical details.
